Nata Watts is an international artist with over 30 years of experience. She trained at some of the most prestigious institutions, has exhibited her work worldwide, and serves as a mentor for the next generation of artists.
Nata Watts’ artistic practice is a fusion of imagination and reality, combining figurative art with abstract elements. Each piece carries its own story, bridging the world of fantasy and romantic journeys. It is a blend of figures, urban motifs, and nature, inviting an abstract aesthetic experience. Through her art, Nata Watts awakens a distinctive aesthetic sensibility, inviting the viewer on a creative and inspiring journey.
Through her travels, Nata Watts has gained recognition as an artist and has become a member of the Académie Européene des Arts in Paris. Her works have been exhibited in Russia, Denmark, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.

Classic master
In the early 1990s, Nata Watts earned her Diploma in Fine Arts and Art Education at the Ministry of Culture’s Institute of Graphic Arts in the Russian Federation.
Additionally, she completed a diploma in Design & Arts and Crafts, gaining extensive experience with a variety of materials, including oil paints, acrylics, murals (outdoor), fresco, watercolor, tempera, and more. During her 13-year classical academic training, Nata Watts became a master of classical art through diverse techniques, achieving the highest level of skill in classical art and its teaching. Nata Watts has also worked at Moscow’s Tretyakov Gallery, the A.S. Pushkin Museum, and the Russian Museum. There, she expanded her expertise in art and art history and also served as an instructor.

Today, Nata Watts lives in Copenhagen, where she dedicates herself to her art, teaching, and runs a studio on Frederiksberg. At Art Studio Nata Watts, visitors can experience a selection of her works. The studio serves as both a meeting place and a venue for private and group courses on Frederiksberg. Here, Nata Watts shares her art and her passion for creativity with the world in an intimate setting.
